Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
Shivers – Late scratching by Order of Stewards at 8.33pm on 23 March 2021 pursuant to GAR 20 (4) (b).
Weblec Opal was quick to begin. Midoriyama and Bee Lucky Banjo were slow to begin.
Isotope, Bee Lucky Banjo and Weblec Opal collided entering the front straight. Isotope and Bee Lucky Banjo collided approaching the second turn. Bee Lucky Banjo galloped on Weblec Opal on the fourth turn checking both greyhounds. Bee Lucky Banjo and Weblec Opal collided in the home straight.
Bee Lucky Banjo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle and left pectoral muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
