Steel Magnolia, Secret Chimp, Solar Charge, Una Star and Filorga Bale collided on the first turn checking Steel Magnolia and Secret Chimp. Steel Magnolia lost ground entering the back straight. Una Star and Filorga Bale collided approaching the home turn checking Una Star which collided with Solar Charge. Secret Chimp and Filorga Bale collided entering the home straight and several times in the home straight. Steel Magnolia raced wide in the home straight.
Steel Magnolia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left flexor tendon injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Solar Charge underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
