Steward's Report
All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Midnight Ruins - New declared weight of 29.1kg, last raced at 27.7kg.
Superior Libba and Midnight Ruins were slow to begin.
Midnight Ruins pulled up approaching the 250m mark and took no competitive part in the running of this event. Superior Libba and Unique Faith collided approaching the 200m mark. Unique Faith checked off Superior Libba at the 200m mark.
Midnight Ruins underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 4. Midnight Ruins was found to have injuries to the left monkey and left pencil muscles. A 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Ms Lisa Farquhar, the trainer of Midnight Ruins regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 250m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1) Midnight Ruins was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Farquhar pleaded guilty to the charge, Midnight Ruins was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Wake Up Dusty - the winner of the event.
