Steward's Report
Samples were taken from Nadali and Marshall's King upon arrival at the course.
Nadali, Kaison Bale and Charlie Bale collided soon after the start. Marshall's King, Aston Zephyr, Nadali, Kaison Bale and Charlie Bale collided soon after the start; checking Aston Zephyr, Nadali and Kaison Bale. Nadali and Charlie Bale collided on the first turn. Nadali crossed out on the home turn; checking Marshall's King and Aston Zephyr.
Marshall's King underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right shoulder joint and left hindleg torn nail injuries. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Nadali underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left pencil/whip and right hindleg triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr B Pursell regarding its performance on the home turn. After considering the evidence from Mr Pursell, acting on their own observations and viewing the inconclusive video footage, Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Nadali must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
