All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

A sample was unable to be obtained from West Song upon arrival at the course, a post-race sample was subsequently taken. 

Pheme, Shima Bolt and South Song were slow to begin.

South Song checked off Tybalt Bale soon after the start.  Lala Juniper crossed to the inside soon after the start checking West Song.  Pheme checked off West Song in the front straight checking Pheme and Shima Bolt causing Pheme to brush the running rail.  Call Me Snooze checked off Queen Redeem in the front straight.  Shima Bolt checked off Tybalt Bale approaching the first turn.  Call Me Snooze, South Song, Queen Redeem and Shima Bolt collided on the first turn checking Shima Bolt and South Song severely checking Queen Redeem, which lost ground as a result.  Lala Juniper checked off Call Me Snooze approaching the second turn checking Pheme.  Shima Bolt and South Song collided on the second turn.  Pheme checked off Lala Juniper entering the back straight.

Ivy Isobel and Stiff Wind collided soon after the start checking Ivy Isobel.  Trending Zircon and Shima Classic collided soon after the start checking Shima Classic.  Affair Bit checked off Stiff Wind approaching the first turn.  Stiff Wind checked off Green Blazer approaching the second turn checking Bahati Bale and Fernando Mick.  Ivy Isobel checked off Affair Bit on the second turn.  Trending Zircon brushed the running rail on the second turn.  Stiff Wind and Bahati Bale collided entering the back straight and again approaching the third turn checking Bahati Bale.  Bahati Bale checked off Stiff Wind on the home turn.  Ivy Isobel checked off Affair Bit entering the home straight.

Ashley's Entity and Cornish Pixie collided soon after the start checking Ashley's Entity.  Mudslide and Bounce Back collided soon after the start.  David Coin checked off Bounce Back in the front straight.  Ashley's Entity contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Mudslide and Charging Yaala collided on the first turn.  Moraine Hayley checked off David Coin approaching the second turn.  Ashley's Entity checked off Pansy Parkinson on the second turn.  Cornish Pixie and Charging Yaala collided approaching the home turn.  Pansy Parkinson and Charging Yaala collided on the home turn.  David Coin and Moraine Hayley collided entering the home straight. Ashley's Entity faltered soon after the winning post.

Ashley's Entity underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Charging Yaala underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8.  Charging Yaala was found to have left foreleg shin soreness and a right calf injury  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Hebridean Black was slow to begin.

Gypsy Zelda and Utah Blues collided soon after the start.  Smithy Keeping and Daph's Ascend collided in the front straight.  Mepunga Maggie checked off Smithy Keeping on the first turn.  Hebridean Black and Leyenda collided on the first turn.  Smithy Keeping checked off Leyenda on the second turn.  Gypsy Zelda and Daph's Ascend collided approaching the third turn.  Mepunga Maggie and Daph's Ascend collided on the home turn.  Smithy Keeping checked off Nenna Tears in the home straight.  Utah Blues, Gypsy Zelda and Daph's Ascend collided approaching the winning post.

Namida was quick to begin.

Weblec Ace and Polly's Yohanna collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Polly's Yohanna.  Weblec Ace, Playlist and Brady's Shout collided approaching the first turn checking Brady's Shout.  Polly's Yohanna checked off Weblec Ace on the first turn.  Namida checked off Lizzie's Entity approaching the second turn causing Namida to brush the running rail.  Polly's Yohanna checked off Weblec Ace approaching the third turn.  Namida and Weblec Ace collided approaching the fourth turn.  Namida checked off Weblec Ace approaching the home turn.  Brady's Shout checked off Namida on the home turn.  Aston Cade and Aston Corinna collided approaching the winning post.

Following the event, Stewards viewed the official video footage and, in particular, the head-on vision regarding the racing manners of Aston Corinna approaching the winning post.  After viewing all available footage, and acting on their own observations, the Stewards were satisfied that Aston Cade and Aston Corinna collided at that point of the race and took no action in the matter.  Stewards also spoke to representative, Mr T Dailly regarding the actions of Aston Corinna.

Mepunga Royal was slow to begin.

Mepunga Royal and Weblec Diamond collided soon after the start.  Disco Riot and Charlie Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Weblec Diamond and Mr. Speaker collided approaching the first turn.  Disco Riot, Weblec Diamond and Mr. Speaker collided on the first turn.  Weblec Diamond checked off Mr. Speaker in the front straight checking Mepunga Royal causing Weblec Diamond to fall and Mepunga Royal to lose ground as a result.  Charlie Bale and Aston Ulysses collided approaching the third turn.  Mr. Speaker checked off It's A Shadow approaching the fourth turn.  Mr. Speaker and It's A Shadow collided approaching the home turn.  Charlie Bale and Aston Ulysses collided on the home turn.

Weblec Diamond underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hindleg calf and triangle injuries.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Tinker Craig, Lucy's Milo and Wild Card were slow to begin.

Tinker Craig, Nevilla Bale and Lucy's Milo collided several times from soon after the start to the front straight.  Tinker Craig checked off Halberd Bale approaching the first turn checking Nevilla Bale and Lucy's Milo.  Desiree Devere and Gypsy Bun collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Tinker Craig and Nevilla Bale collided entering the back straight.  Gypsy Bun and Lucy's Milo collided approaching the third turn severely checking Lucy's Milo which lost ground as a result.

Colden Dayto was slow to begin.

Georgia Rose crossed out soon after the start checking Nicholas Rose.  Xamira Bale crossed in soon after the start; checking Colden Dayto and Nicholas Rose.  Nihari Bale and Providence Bale collided on the first turn.  Colden Dayto and Xamira Bale collided on the first turn.  Nicholas Rose checked off Georgia Rose on the second turn.  Nihari Bale checked off Providence Bale approaching the third turn.  Georgia Rose contacted the running rail on the third turn and lost ground checking Nicholas Rose.  Colden Dayto and Providence Bale collided approaching the home turn.  Providence Bale checked off Nihari Bale in the home straight.

Just Burning was quick to begin.

Mr. Bar Wicked, Kutcher's Ruslie and Akoya collided soon after the start.  Devel Sixteen, Coconut Miss and Mr. Bar Wicked collided soon after the start, checking Mr. Bar Wicked.  Mr. Bar Wicked checked off Coconut Miss in the front straight.  Devel Sixteen checked off Miss Tickle on the second turn.  Just Burning checked off Miss Tickle entering the back straight.  Mr. Bar Wicked checked off Akoya in the back straight.  Miss Tickle checked off Devel Sixteen approaching the third turn.  Coconut Miss and Akoya collided on the home turn.  Devel Sixteen turned its head outwards and collided with Kutcher's Ruslie approaching the winning post.

Devel Sixteen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to handler, Mr D Chapman regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Devel Sixteen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Chapman pleaded guilty to the charge, Devel Sixteen was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr D. Chapman was issued with a warning pursuant to GAR 42(2) in that he left course without permission of Stewards.
