Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Daph's Ascend.
Daph's Ascend was quick to begin.
Orwell Bale crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Minter Rise, Aston Adonis and Bull's Roar causing Minter Rise to stumble. Orwell Bale checked off Bull's Roar approaching the first turn. Bull's Roar checked off Zipping Burns entering the back straight causing both greyhounds to fall and tail off as a result.
Zipping Burns underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right calf muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Bull's Roar underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
