All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of handling, boxing, starting and catching greyhounds.

Kiss Me Kate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5. Kiss Me Kate was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Meehan Tommy and Classy Stringer collided soon after the start. Meehan Tommy, Classy Stringer and Kid Malawi collided soon after the start checking Meehan Tommy and Classy Stringer.

Frankie Fever and Meehan Marlow collided approaching the 200m mark. Joking Bear and Aston Guinness collided approaching the 200m mark.

Reality Luxe underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing as the greyhound had an abrasion to its tongue, Reality Luxe was passed fit to race. 

Addie Attitude, Flojo Mikado and Invictus Seeker collided soon after the start checking all three greyhounds. Aston Champagne checked off Reality Luxe at the 100m mark.

Flojo Mikado underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left deltoid muscle. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Reality Luxe underwent a post-race veterinary examination for the abrasion to its tongue - no stand down period was applied.  

A post-race sample was taken from Bareki - the winner of the event.

A sample was taken from Invictus Murray upon arrival at the course.

Love A Talk and Shady Talks collided soon after the start. Kody Talks and Cosmic Gas collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Cosmic Gas and Shady Talks collided at the 50m mark checking both greyhounds.

Almapa Berisha, Sole Elusion and Riccarton Rick collided soon after the start checking Sole Elusion and Riccarton Rick. Undercut, Sovereign King and Riccarton Rick collided approaching the 250m mark checking Sovereign King and Riccarton Rick. He's An Ace and Suspense collided approaching the 250m mark. Almapa Berisha, He's An Ace and Suspense collided approaching the 200m mark checking He's An Ace and Almapa Berisha. Almapa Berisha checked off Suspense at the 150m mark. Almapa Berisha and Riccarton Rick collided at the 100m mark checking Almapa Berisha. He's An Ace and Sovereign King collided at the 50m mark.

Always Primed - The frequency of racing was discussed with Trainer Mr Jeff Gorgoski, his comments were noted..

Make A Pat and Adonis Sands collided soon after the start. Make A Pat and Bidgee Boy collided at the 200m mark. Kanga Lights and Always Primed collided at the 150m mark. Adonis Sands and Kanga Lights collided several times from the 50m mark to the winning post.

Always Primed underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Huey's Dream - the winner of the event.

Infinite Will and Tyson's Tiger collided soon after the start. Rumour Is Fact, Diamond Socks and Lee Will collided soon after the start checking Diamond Socks and Lee Will. Rumour Is Fact, Diamond Socks and Lee Will collided at the 200m mark checking Diamond Socks. Rumour Is Fact and Lee Will collided approaching the 100m mark. Riccarton Weaver galloped on Beautiful Freak at the 50m mark. Riccarton Weaver and Lee Will collided at the 50m mark.

Infinite Will underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Rumour Is Fact - the winner of the event.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Stewards concluded an Inquiry today regarding the boxing of Courtney Lee in Event 12 at Healesville on Friday, 15 January, 2012.  After taking evidence from Trainer -  Mr. David Schwarz, and HGA Starter - Stewards issued a warning to Mr. D. Schwarz regarding his tardiness in boxing Courtney Lee in that Event pursuant to GAR 51(9).
