Steward's Report
Trash turned its head outwards at the 150m mark and at the 100m mark. About Bob and Challis Sprite collided several times from the 150m mark to the 50m mark. Blue Magic Opal checked off About Bob at the 100m mark. Trash and Shifty collided approaching the winning post.
Trash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following Race 12, Trash was found to have a right deltoid injury and a right pencil/whip injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Trainer, Mr R Gladman regarding the greyhound's racing manners at the 150m mark and the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Trash was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Gladman pleaded not guilty to the charge, Trash was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
