Alabama Cruise and Whodat Diva were slow to begin. Shim Cam and Bluesette Queen collided on the first turn checking Bluesette Queen and Alabama Cruise. Shim Cam and Nitro Shelby collided on the first turn. Alabama Cruise, Whodat Diva and Deed Of Shianne collided approaching the second turn. Nitro Shelby and Bluesette Queen collided on the second turn checking Bluesette Queen. Nitro Shelby and Deed Of Shianne collided approaching the home turn. Whodat Diva and Alabama Cruise collided entering the home straight. Nitro Shelby marred Shim Cam in the home straight severely checking both greyhounds. Alabama Cruise and Whodat Dive collided in the home straight. Whodat Dive raced wide in the home straight.

Bluesette Queen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Nitro Shelby underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Garry George, the trainer of Nitro Shelby regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Nitro Shelby was charged with marring.  Mr. George pleaded guilty to the charge, Nitro Shelby was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Two Up Tommy, Edgy Jack and Queen Lisa collided soon after the start checking Edgy Jack and Queen Lisa. Happy Dance and Squeaky Mouse collided approaching the first turn checking Squeaky Mouse. Squeaky Mouse, Two Up Tommy and Chasing The Edge collided on the first turn checking Chasing The Edge which collided with Killer Miss. Squeaky Mouse and Got One Fernando collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds and causing Squeaky Mouse to tail off. Edgy Jack and Queen Lisa collided on the home turn. Killer Miss and Queen Lisa collided entering the home straight. Happy Dance raced wide in the home straight.

Squeaky Mouse underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Got One Fernando underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Chasing Chops, Rival Wiggy and Alfie Rocks collided soon after the start. Alfie Rocks, Rival Wiggy and Mr. Hillbilly collided approaching the first turn checking Rival Wiggy. Alfie Rocks and Mr. Hillbilly collided on the first turn. Mr. Hillbilly and Viking Junior collided approaching the home turn. Rival Wiggy and Viking Junior collided on the home turn checking Rival Wiggy. Viking Junior eased in the home straight. Bag Secured and Island Chief collided several times in the home straight.

Viking Junior underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr. Paul Galea regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Viking Junior was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Galea pleaded guilty to the charge, Viking Junior was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Brayden Klemke regarding the racing manners of Bag Secured in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Klemke, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Raw Attitude and Shim Girl were slow to begin. Raw Attitude and Ruby Arizona collided approaching the first turn. Raw Attitude, Ruby Arizona, Tommy Cawbourne and Chasing Summer collided on the first turn checking Raw Attitude and Ruby Arizona. Shim Girl and Chasing Summer collided approaching the home turn checking Chasing Summer. Shim Girl turned it's head inwards in the home straight and collided with Fast And Flying.

Shim Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mrs. Belinda Harley regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Shim Girl was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs. Harley pleaded guilty to the charge, Shim Girl was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Lea Arandt with kennel representative Mr. Max Zammit and noted his comments.

Pandora's Blue and Lea Arandt were slow to begin. Chattering Teeth and Pandora's Blue collided on the first turn. Jafar Bale and Fab Nine collided approaching the second turn. Fab Nine, Pandora's Blue and Lea Arandt collided on the second turn checking Pandora's Blue and Lea Arandt. Fab Nine clipped the heels of Jafar Bale on the home turn.

Lea Arandt underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Emergency and Our Flying Bolt collided soon after the start. Especial Echo, Kinloch Journey and Florentine Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Florentine Bale. Especial Echo, Emergency, Kinloch Journey and Divine Dixie collided on the first turn. Kinloch Journey and Especial Echo collided approaching the home turn checking Especial Echo Kinloch Journey and Emergency. Rogue Temptation tired in the concluding stages of the event.

Following the announcement of All Clear, Stewards were made aware that a bank of lights were not working in the back straight. Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound had its chances materially affected. 

The remainder of the meeting was delayed due to a lighting failure. Track maintenance staff rectified the issue.  Stewards declared the track satisfactory for racing. All races were amended to the following times:

Race 9 - 8:22pm

Race 10 - 8:37pm

Race 11 - 8:52pm

Race 12 - 9:09pm

Precisely was slow to begin. Especial One, Miss Tenzing and Top Right collided approaching the first turn checking Top Right. Especial One and Top Right collided on the first turn checking Especial One. Especial One and Top Right collided on the first turn checking Especial One. Miss Tenzing and Irwin Bale collided on the first turn checking Miss Tenzing. Good Mate Rusty and Double Up collided in the home straight. 

Especial One underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a abrasion to the upper jaw. No stand down period was imposed.

Miss Marley was slow to begin. Cherokee Fawn and Rezzie's Shout collided on the first turn checking Cherokee Fawn. Proven Blazer and Miss Marley collided on the second turn checking Miss Marley. Proven Blazer raced wide on the home turn severely checking Proven Blazer and Cherokee Fawn.

A post-race sample was taken from Prince Cody - winner of the event.

Coyote Ugly, Trout and Secret Thoughts collided soon after the start. Diamond Socks and Kraken Ruben collided on the first turn checking Kraken Ruben which collided with Lektra Loopy causing Kraken Ruben to fall and severely checking Coyote Ugly and Secret Thoughts.

Kraken Ruben underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the head. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Another Avatar, McIvor Stretch and Burning Express collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Another Avatar. My Mascara and Grey Not Blue collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn checking My Mascara. McIvor Stretch raced wide in the home straight.

The start time of this event was amended to  9:09pm.

Indominus was slow to begin. Solar Charge checked off Knocka Bott soon after the start. Quirky Phoebe and Less Ordinary collided approaching the first turn checking Less Ordinary. Indominus and Sweet Hostility collided on the first turn. Indominus and Solar Charge collided approaching the home turn severely checking Indominus which fell as a result. Midnight Fussed and Knocka Bott collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Indominus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right radius/ulna fracture and was humanely euthanased.
