Steward's Report
Diamond Socks was slow to begin.
Atomic Icon and Sarah Smirnoff collided soon after the start. Harvey Warbanger and Atomic Icon collided approaching the 250m mark. Sarah Smirnoff crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark checking Harvey Warbanger, Burning Express and Diamond Socks. Sarah Smirnoff and Springvale Misty collided at the 200m mark. Harvey Warbanger faltered at the 150m mark and tailed off. Diamond Socks checked off Burning Express at the 100m mark. Atomic Icon and Now And Then collided approaching the winning post.
Harvey Warbanger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left triangle muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
