The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Orya Bale with Mr Luke Harris and noted his comments.

Yalena Bale and Aston Value collided on the third turn checking Aston Value. Kibitzer and Little Bertha collided on the third turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Fabriola Acai – Late scratching at 8.10pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right back muscle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Five Star, Zipping Rambo and Punk Lass Rocks collided soon after the start. Five Star galloped on the heels of Zipping Rambo on the first turn checking Five Star. Zipping Rambo and Mepunga Sparkle collided on the first turn. Five Star crossed out in the home straight first time round. Zipping Rambo and Fully Roasted collided approaching the home turn.

Gotham Duke underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury and a right hamstring injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Miss Melanie Lithgow, the trainer of Gotham Duke regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Gotham Duke was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Miss Lithgow pleaded not guilty to the charge, Gotham Duke was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at The Meadows and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
