Steward's Report
All persons attending the venue today carried face masks, observed social distance requirements, and maintained room density quotients for the race meeting.
An out of competition sample was taken from Tom The Cheap on 7 April 2021.
A pre-race sample was taken from Gintoki Bale.
Zylon Bale and Tom The Cheap collided on the first turn checking Zylon Bale. Gintoki Bale, Rock It Jed and Zheng collided on the first turn severely checking Gintoki Bale and Rock It Jed, Gintoki Bale faltered and tailed off as a result. Zylon Bale, Tom The Cheap and Zheng collided on the second turn. Call Me Chloe checked off Postman Pickett on the second turn. Zylon Bale checked off Tom The Cheap entering the back straight. Tom The Cheap crossed out in the back straight checking Call Me Chloe and Zheng.
Gintoki Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 7. Gintoki Bale was found to have a right wrist sprain and a right calf muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Aston Rhone - winner of the event.
