Zero Time turned it's head outwards and visibly eased on the first turn and collided with Shim Bob. Whakahoro and Zero Time collided approaching the third turn checking Zero Time and causing Zero Time to falter and tail off. Isotope and Ishmy Neecy collided on the third turn checking Ishmy Neecy.

Shanlyn Kim and Underworld collided soon after the start. Shanlyn Kim clipped the heels of Underworld on the first turn checking Shanlyn Kim and Brizo. Brizo and Shanlyn Kim collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Shanlyn Kim and Brizo collided on the third turn checking Brizo.
