Steward's Report
Aston Chandra, Caveman Yap and Lawson Drive were slow to begin. Callister, Double Supreme and Razor's Edge collided on the first turn. Caveman Yap and Lawson Drive collided on the first turn causing Lawson Drive to race wide. Aston Chandra and Callister collided on the third turn checking Callister. Double Supreme marred Lawson Drive in the home straight.
Double Supreme was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind foot spike wound, no stand down. Stewards spoke to Trainer Tony Tufo regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Double Supreme was charged with marring. Mr Tony Tufo pleaded guilty to the charge, Double Supreme was found guilty and suspended for 3 months all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post race sample was taken from Midnight Force, the winner of the event.
