Dr. Madison was quick to begin. Aston Rabanne, Kensington Miss and Blackest Black were slow to begin.
Kensington Miss and Blackest Black collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Aston Rabanne checked off Sweet Petit approaching the second turn and collided with Willow Ash. Sweet Petit contacted the running rail entering the back straight. Sweet Petit checked off Willow Ash on the third turn. Sweet Petit and Aston Rabanne collided entering the home straight.
