Sarah Beauty crossed out soon after the start and collided with Paddy's Marvel, checking Sarah Beauty and Paddy's Marvel. Peter Coin checked off Paddy's Marvel soon after the start. Sarah Beauty and Paddy's Marvel collided approaching the 250m mark checking Sarah Beauty, Paddy’s Marvel and Flame Child. Sarah Beauty crossed out at the 100m mark and raced wide causing Flame Child to check off Sarah Beauty. Peter Coin checked off Aubameyang approaching the 100m mark.
Superior Libba underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right pencil muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Kevin Tirchett regarding the racing manners of Sarah Beauty soon after the start. After hearing evidence from Mr Tirchett, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.
