Dukey Duke, Trickster Cabang, Forcefully and Count Me In collided soon after the start checking all four greyhounds. Trickster Cabang and Forcefully collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Dukey Duke and Count Me In collided on the first turn checking Dukey Duke. Clean Slate checked off Arlington approaching the second turn. Aston Champagne and Arlington collided approaching the second turn. Aston Champagne checked off Arlington on the second turn.

Dukey Duke underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right monkey muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
