The traditional 2-wave (odds then evens) boxing process has been re-instated for all races in Victoria from Tuesday 10 November 2020. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times. 

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Husky Flyer was slow to begin. Kraken Sue checked off Shaw's Smother soon after the start. Key Effort and Husky Flyer collided approaching the first turn checking Key Effort. Spearhead Joe, Husky Flyer, Shaw's Smother and Kraken Sue collided approaching the first turn checking Husky Flyer, Shaw's Smother and Key Effort. Key Effort checked off Husky Flyer on the first turn. Spearhead Joe and Kraken Sue collided on the first turn checking Kraken Sue. Shaw's Smother lost ground on the first turn. Husky Flyer and Kraken Sue collided approaching the home turn severely checking Husky Flyer, Kraken Sue and Key Effort.

Shaw's Smother underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain and a right quadriceps injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Shared Colour was quick to begin. Rockstar Britt was slow to begin. Rockstar Britt checked off Shared Colour soon after the start. King Crow checked off She's Serious approaching the home turn. She's Serious brushed the running rail on the home turn. Follow The Que raced wide entering the home straight checking Pyrenees Pegasus. King Crow and She's Serious collided entering the home straight.

Aston Samara was quick to begin. Prince Of Idol was slow to begin. Prince Of Idol, Cool Limit and College Degree collided soon after the start checking Prince Of Idol and Cool Limit. Eleora Bale checked off Create A Scene approaching the first turn. Prince Of Idol and Cool Limit collided approaching the first turn checking Cool Limit. Create A Scene checked off Prince Of Idol entering the home straight.

College Boy was quick to begin. Aston Respect and Hojilla Bale were slow to begin. Aston Respect and Rockstar Jaimee collided soon after the start checking Rockstar Jaimee. Rona Express, Graclyn Bale and Hojilla Bale collided approaching the first turn. Aston Respect checked off Hojilla Bale on the first turn checking Rockstar Jaimee. Sammy McIvor and Going Viral collided on the first turn checking Hojilla Bale, Aston Respect and Rockstar Jaimee and severely checking Sammy McIvor, Going Viral and Rona Express causing all three greyhounds to lose considerable ground. Aston Respect, Going Viral and Rona Express collided approaching the home turn. Sammy McIvor and Rockstar Jaimee collided on the home turn. Graclyn Bale visibly eased and turned it's head to the inside approaching the winning post.

Graclyn Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left thigh and right hamstrings. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. S. Coulson regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Graclyn Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Coulson pleaded guilty to the charge, Graclyn Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Battered Sav was quick to begin. Cruisy's Special and Oriental Amber were slow to begin. Oriental Amber checked off Rev Up Rob approaching the first turn. Fleur Burger and Shinjuku collided approaching the first turn checking Fleur Burger. Battered Sav and Shinjuku collided on the first turn checking Shinjuku and Cruisy's Special. Battered Sav and Shinjuku collided approaching the home turn checking Battered Sav and Oriental Amber. Rev Up Rob and Cruisy's Special collided approaching the home turn. Fleur Burger and Battered Sav collided on the home turn checking Battered Sav and Oriental Amber. Cruisy's Special and Crackerjack Pack collided on the home turn checking Cruisy's Special. Fleur Burger and Crackerjack Pack collided in the home straight.

Battered Sav underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a fractured rear left toe, a left back muscle injury and right triangle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Lady Fabio.

Rilynn Bale and Crackerjack Suni were quick to begin. Chasing Beers and Ikaruga Bale were slow to begin. Chasing Beers checked off Ikaruga Bale on the second turn. Crackerjack Suni and Armour Bale collided on the second turn. Any Luck and Sonny Daze collided approaching the home turn.

Fergusta Bale, Alumni and Aston Lopez collided approaching the first turn checking Fergusta Bale and Aston Lopez. Fergusta Bale checked off Numinous on the first turn checking Aston Lopez, Fergusta Bale lost ground as a result.

Gardener's Boyo was slow to begin. Blueberry Hill and Golden Teddy collided on the home turn checking Blueberry Hill, Golden Teddy, Have A Roadie, Upright and Step Aside. Upright and Gardener's Boyo collided in the home straight. Have A Roadie, Upright and Gardener's Boyo collided approaching the winning post.

Golden Teddy – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Russian Sub and Regal Missile were slow to begin. Major Winston was very slow to begin (3L). Ginger Meggs and Xella bale collided on the first turn checking Xella Bale and Philadelphia Pip. Xella Bale turned it's head to the outside in the home straight and collided with Ginger Meggs.

Xella Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms. R. Gibbons, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Xella Bale was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms. Gibbons pleaded not guilty to the charge, Xella Bale was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Jay Jay Kersey was quick to begin. Double Tactic and Nessa's Zara were slow to begin. Aston Champagne, Fast Fever and Bust A Record collided on the first turn checking Fast Fever and Low Planes. Aston Champagne checked off Bust A Record on the first turn. Aston Champagne and Double Tactic collided on the home turn. Nessa's Zara raced wide entering the home straight. Aston Champagne crossed to the outside in the home straight checking Low Planes and Fast Fever.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Kinloch Journey with trainer Mr Jye Formosa and noted their comments.

Aston Logan and Calico Bull were slow to begin. Pontiac Bandit checked off Kinloch Journey approaching the first turn checking Kinloch Journey. McIvor Stretch and Calico Bull collided on the first turn checking Calicco Bull which stumbled. Outrageous Esther checked off McIvor Bluey on the home turn. Aston Logan raced wide entering the home straight. Pontiac Bandit and Outrageous Ester collided in the home straight.

Kinloch Journey underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist sprain and a right pencil muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Northern Zone, Good Mate Rusty, Red Taltarni and Daisy Hill Lad were slow to begin. Northern Zone and Good Mate Rusty collided on the first turn checking Northern Zone, Good Mate Rusty, Red Taltarni and Daisy Hill Lad. Weetbix Mini and Kraken Pat collided approaching the home turn. Aston Holdings and Knuckle Buster collided several times from the home straight to approaching the winning post.
