Steward's Report
Arvo's Joy was a late scratching at 3.21pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter, Mr A Craven did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Bernmar Paul was quick to begin. Jimmy Marlow, Intangible Lass and Lonesome Fool collided soon after the start. Intangible Lass and Jimmy Marlow collided approaching the first turn. Captain Revenge, Jimmy Marlow and Katie Cherry collided on the first turn checking Intangible Lass. Mr. Goodtime checked off Lonesome Fool on the first turn. Captain Revenge checked off Bernmar Paul approaching the home turn checking Jimmy Marlow and Katie Cherry. Captain Revenge and Lonesome Fool collided on the home turn. Mr. Goodtime galloped on the heels of Jimmy Marlow on the home turn checking Mr. Goodtime and Katie Cherry. Katie Cherry raced wide in the home straight.
Mr. Goodtime was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained right shoulder and thigh soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
