Pedro's Twist was quick to begin. Next Grange and Why Not Jake were slow to begin. Hey Rhonda and Miss Carringbush collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Tara Gold checked off Pedro's Twist on the first turn colliding with Occupation Lad; Occupation Lad was checked as a result. Occupation Lad and Why Not Jake collided approaching the home turn checking Why Not Jake and severely checking Hey Rhonda which contacted the running rail as a result.
