Mepunga Tiara and Under Threat were slow to begin. Abbey's Hand clipped the heels of Mepunga Hayley on the first turn, checking Mepunga Hayley, causing Under Threat to stumble. Mepunga Tiara crossed out approaching the third turn, checking Athos. Mepunga Hayley and In This Way collided entering the back straight, severely checking Mepunga Hayley and Under Threat.
Under Threat was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
