A pre-race sample was taken from Maybe Sienna.
Especially Eager was quick to begin. Boes High Five was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start.
Maybe Sienna and Rylee's Boy collided soon after the start. Boes Reward raced wide approaching the 100m mark, causing Boes High Five to gallop on Boes Reward, severely checking Boes High Five. Rylee's Boy and Especially Eager collided approaching the winning post. Rylee's Boy, Especially Eager and One Double Beat collided approaching the winning post.
Boes High Five underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hind sesamoid injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Daniel Bicchieri, the Representative of Rylee's Boy and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.
A post-race sample was taken from One Double Beat - the winner of the event.
