Steward's Report
Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.
All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore facemasks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Look Around, Write About Her and Sweet Sandy collided soon after the start checking Look Around and Write About Her.Allie Novcek visibly eased approaching the 50m mark. Write About Her crossed in approaching the 50m mark checking Allie Novak. Write About Her turned its head at the 50m mark and visibly eased approaching the winning post. Write About Her underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported . Mr Kyle Brooks declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. Stewards spoke to Mr. Brooks, the trainer of Write About Her regarding the greyhound’s racing manners from the 50m mark to approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A (1) Write About Her was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Brooks pleaded guilty to the charge, Write About Her was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at all Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
