Sarcasmic – Late scratching at 11:02am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right toe injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Financial Tarra was slow to begin. Flashy De Goey and Threadin' Mikado collided soon after the start. Threadin' Mikado checked off Dundee Prince approaching the first turn. Why Not Lilah checked off Rock Me Xanthe approaching the second turn causing Why Not Lilah and Dundee Prince to collide. Rock Me Xanthe brushed the running rail on the second turn. Flashy De Goey raced wide entering the back straight. Rock Me Xanthe and Financial Tarra collided entering the home straight causing Financial Tarra to stumble and lose ground.
