Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Slingshot Yin and Blazin' Jewel collided in the home straight. Luigi Bale and Our Flying Emma collided approaching the winning post. Mt. View Jester, Mt. View Pearl and Slingshot Yin collided approaching the winning post.

Winnie Grace underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Lindsay Fulford regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Winnie Grace was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Fulford pleaded guilty to the charge; Winnie Grace was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to representative, Mr Colin Dalton regarding the racing manners of Our Flying Emma. After hearing evidence from Mr Dalton, viewing all the available race footage and taking into consideration the interference sustained, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.

Arcanine and Devon Shadow were slow to begin. Alpine Blaze, Indigo Indy and Rockin' Rosie collided on the first turn checking Alpine Blaze, Indigo Indy and Totally Bella. Arcanine checked off Totally Bella approaching the second turn. Indigo Indy and Devon Shadow collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards reminded the Starter of his responsibilities after it was noted that the blank magnets were not placed on the front of the starting boxes for the vacant box numbers 3 and 6 in this event.  

Draconic Lad and Casanova Man were slow to begin. It's All Luck galloped on Tiger's Roar soon after the start checking Casanova Man and It's All Luck. Draconic Lad checked off Split Pea soon after the start. Split Pea and Draconic Lad collided on the first turn checking Split Pea and Tiger's Roar. 

Addy's Evie and Jane Way were slow to begin. Rebel May Road, Addy's Evie, Magic Voyage and Max Black collided approaching the first turn checking Max Black which raced wide as a result. Tiffy's Express, Rebel May Road and Addy's Evie collided on the first turn. Addy's Evie galloped on Tiffy's Express entering the back straight. Rebel May Road checked off Addy's Evie entering the back straight. Rebel May Road galloped on Tiffy's Express approaching the home turn.

Little Rage and Majestic Way were quick to begin. Gracie's Girl was slow to begin. Cloncurry Girl checked off Why Not Gazza on the first turn checking Always Primed. Always Primed checked off Gellar Bale on the first turn. Gracie's Girl and Smarty Pants collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Why Not Gazza and Majestic Way collided entering the home straight.

Sarcasmic – Late scratching at 11:02am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a right toe injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Financial Tarra was slow to begin. Flashy De Goey and Threadin' Mikado collided soon after the start. Threadin' Mikado checked off Dundee Prince approaching the first turn. Why Not Lilah checked off Rock Me Xanthe approaching the second turn causing Why Not Lilah and Dundee Prince to collide. Rock Me Xanthe brushed the running rail on the second turn. Flashy De Goey raced wide entering the back straight. Rock Me Xanthe and Financial Tarra collided entering the home straight causing Financial Tarra to stumble and lose ground. 

Where's The Rum and Buy The Dip were quick to begin. Run Fast Spirit and Zambora Tara were slow to begin. Coco Chum checked off Free Kick Hawks soon after the start. Where's The Rum and Buy The Dip collided approaching the first turn checking Where's The Rum. Rocket Ronnie and Coco Chum collided on the first turn. Where's The Rum and Black Garnet collided entering the home straight and again approaching the winning post. 

Knuckle Buster was slow to begin. Knuckle Buster galloped on Horace Bale approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Zumi's Swagger, Too Be Sure and All To Lucky collided approaching the first turn. Saharrah Blitz and Koh Lipe collided approaching the first turn. Koh Lipe and Kai Valley Rocks collided on the first turn. Knuckle Buster and All To Lucky collided approaching the home turn. Zumi's Swagger checked off Kai Valley Rocks on the home turn checking Koh Lipe. All Too Lucky raced wide in the home straight. Zumi's Swagger faltered in the home straight and lost ground. Too Be Sure and Kai Valley Rocks collided in the home straight. 

Zumi's Swagger underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Aquileia was very slow to begin (4 lengths). Boes Reward, Crouching Tiger, Run Shifty Run and Lektra Kez collided soon after the start. Crouching Tiger checked off Over Talking on the first turn severely checking Crouching Tiger, Run Shifty Run and Mac's Mayhem. Mac's Mayhem galloped on Boes Reward approaching the home turn checking Aquileia and Mac's Mayhem. Over Talking and Lektra Kez collided in the home straight.
