Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance withGAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to andcontinue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 &6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Cool And Deadly was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right deltoid, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Earn The Frank was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left stifle injury and left quadriceps injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Lee Ali and Lachie's Legacy were slow to begin.  Neymar Junior, Lee Ali, Fernando Frank, Dewana Success, Mepunga Katie and Rockstar Lincoln collided approaching the first turn checking Lee Ali, Fernando Frank and Dewana Success.  Lee Ali and Dewana Success collided on the first turn.  Lee Ali, Mepunga Katie and Lachie's Legacy collided on the second turn checking Mepunga Katie and Lachie's Legacy which raced wide as a result.  Fernando Frank checked off Lee Ali in the back straight.  Nine To Seven checked off Neymar Junior in the home straight.  Lee Ali, Dewana Success and Mepunga Katie collided approaching the winning post.

Carry On Star - late scratching at 9.33am due to injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Ryker - late scratching at due to non-arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Mr R.Tartaglia informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown en-route to the track.  Stewards have advised Mr Tartaglia that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted to the satisfaction of Stewards within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival.  The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Max Jet and My Name's Barry collided soon after the start.  Max Jet, My Name's Barry and Fancy Francene collided approaching the first turn.

My Name's Barry was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
