Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Tysons Town, Kody Talks and Jakey's Day were slow to begin.

Burning Ella and Jolly Jiggs collided soon after the start. Tysons Town and Kody Talks collided at the 250m mark checking Kody Talks. Kody Talks and Zero Time collided several times at the 200m mark causing Kody Talks to stumble. Market Lass and Zero Time collided at the 150m mark checking both greyhounds.

Dusty Express and Front Bar were slow to begin.

Remember Jimmy and Hyena Queen collided soon after the start and again at the 250m mark. Remember Jimmy checked off Trash at the 175m mark and crossed to the outside. Aqua Percy crossed to the inside at the 150m mark.

Invictus Reality and Burnish collided at the 250m mark.

Percy's Legacy and Jack Of Hearts collided soon after the start. Fireball Frank, Percy's Legacy and Jack Of Hearts collided at the 300m mark.

Stewards spoke to Mr G. James, the trainer of Invictus Atticus and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.

The start of this event was rescheduled to 12:45pm.

Aston Select and Billy's Missile collided at the 300m mark checking Kraken Glows. Billy's Missile, Lockwood Lad, Huey's Dream and Havilah Kid collided at the 275m mark checking Havilah Kid. Aston Select and Havilah Kid collided at the 150m mark checking Aston Select. 

Amanda Lee crossed to the rail soon after the start checking No Tickles and Tubark. Thrill Me, Tubark and Big Bazza collided at the 200m mark. Tubark crossed out at the 100m mark. Thrill Me and No Tickles collided at the 50m mark.

Brylee and Whiskey Hans were slow to begin.

Bodhi's Bro Kai and Nebraska Nell collided at the 275m mark. Daniel Avocado and Eye Catcher collided at the 250m mark. Daniel Avocado and Bodhi's Bro Kai collided at the 200m mark and again at the 100m mark checking both greyhounds.

Oakvale Cruiser was slow to begin,

Darley Park and Mepunga Harry collided at the 250m mark. Mepunga Harry, Feel The Thunder, Baby Talk and Commander Kay collided at the 225m mark checking Feel The Thunder. Baby Talk and Commander Kay collided at the 150m mark.

Urana Duke and Notorious Jiggs collided soon after the start. Side Splitting, Joking Bear and So They Say collided several times from soon after the start to the 250m mark checking Joking Bear and So They Say. Notorious Jiggs and So They Say collided several times approaching the 150m mark. So They Say marred Notorious Jiggs approaching the 100m mark and collided several times checking both greyhounds. Side Splitting and So They Say collided several times approaching the winning post.

So They Say underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right thigh muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Tilley, the trainer of So They Say, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 100m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) So They Say was charged with marring. Mr Tilley pleaded guilty to the charge, So They Say is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
