Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Zekel Bale.
Zekel Bale went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Crackerjack Kane was slow to begin. Estrella Starr, Go Quantum and Dyna Xervo collided soon after the start. Go Quantum, Dyna Xervo and Indulge collided on the first turn, severely checking Dyna Xervo and Indulge, both stumbled as a result. Cacophony faltered in the back straight and tailed off. Zekel Bale checked off Go Quantum on the home turn.
Cacophony was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
