Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Sarcasmic.
Any Luck and Mepunga Mila were quick to begin. Sarcasmic and Knockout Fantasy were slow to begin. Corazon De Leon and Knockout Fantasy collided soon after the start. Corazon De Leon crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Wonder Miss, Sarcasmic and Accused. Sarcasmic and Wonder Miss collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Accused, Corazon De Leon and Teddy Too collided on the first turn. Corazon De Leon and Teddy Too fell. Accused was severely checked causing Knockout Fantasy to fall.
Any Luck was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf muscle and suspected cramp, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Any Luck must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
Corazon De Leon was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Knockout Fantasy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards reviewed the racing incident on the first turn, specifically the racing manners of Sarcasmic and Wonder Miss. Stewards spoke to the representatives of both greyhounds, Mr S. Elsum, and Me J. Borg regarding their greyhound's racing manners. Considering the significance of the collision on the first turn, and the interference caused, stewards issued both greyhounds with a warning regarding their racing manners.
