Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51(10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

War Creek, Beguile and Ernesto Bale were slow to begin.  Raglan Viper, Sharni's My Girl, Beguile and War Creek collided on the first turn, severely checking War Creek and Ernesto Bale causing Sharni's My Girl to stumble.  Mississippi Mud and Idria Bale collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  Raglan Viper and Beguile collided on the third turn.  Raglan Viper and Idria Bale collided in the home straight.

Any Luck and Mepunga Mila were quick to begin.  Sarcasmic and Knockout Fantasy were slow to begin.  Corazon De Leon and Knockout Fantasy collided soon after the start.  Corazon De Leon crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Wonder Miss, Sarcasmic and Accused.  Sarcasmic and Wonder Miss collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Accused, Corazon De Leon and Teddy Too collided on the first turn.  Corazon De Leon and Teddy Too fell.  Accused was severely checked causing Knockout Fantasy to fall.

Any Luck was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf muscle and suspected cramp, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp) Any Luck must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Corazon De Leon was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Knockout Fantasy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Teddy Too was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards reviewed the racing incident on the first turn, specifically the racing manners of Sarcasmic and Wonder Miss. Stewards spoke to the representatives of both greyhounds, Mr S. Elsum, and Me J. Borg regarding their greyhound's racing manners. Considering the significance of the collision on the first turn, and the interference caused, stewards issued both greyhounds with a warning regarding their racing manners.

Halwes, Imminent and Rockstar Lincoln were slow to begin.  Halwes, Imminent and Threadin' Mikado collided on the first turn.  Imminent fell as a result.  Cacophony checked off Too Good Joog on the second turn.  Do A Runner checked off Threadin' Mikado approaching the home turn.

Imminent was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left biceps and left pectoral muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
