Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Warrior Armo was quick to begin.  Jakey's Day was slow to begin.

Red Yannick and Walk On Betty collided soon after the start.  Zumi's Swagger and Walk On Betty collided approaching the first turn.  Burn Your Name and Zumi's Swagger collided on the first turn.  Jakey's Day checked off Red Yannick approaching the home turn causing Jakey's Day and Lovely Gracie to race wide.  Warrior Armo visibly turned its head outwards approaching the winning post.

Warrior Armo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right thigh and a spike wound to the right hind paw, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Chris Armstrong, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Warrior Armo was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Armstrong pleaded guilty to the charge, Warrior Armo must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Devon Shadow was slow to begin.  Frainy's Well was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Frainy's Well, Shimmy Over and Devon Shadow raced wide in the back straight.  Totally Bella faltered and lost ground approaching the home turn.  Totally Bella and Dr. Tourmaline collided on the home turn.

Totally Bella underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have shin soreness to the left metacarpal.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Battle Symphony, Teaks Streak and Maximum Jemma collided soon after the start.  Thunder Spolly and Break The Chains collided approaching the first turn.  Battle symphony galloped on Maximum Jemma approaching the first turn checking Maximum Jemma.  Break The Chains and Inga Mikey collided on the second turn.  Teaks Streak galloped on Battle Symphony in the back straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Maximum Jemma - the winner of the event.

Shanghai Avatar and Run Shifty Run were quick to begin.  Knuckle Buster was slow to begin.

September Dream stumbled approaching the first turn and lost ground.  September Dream and Casanova Man collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Another Rupee.

Morbius was slow to begin.

Another Rupee and Galloping Occy collided approaching the first turn.  Dundee Prince checked off Geena Bale approaching the first turn.  Morbius checked off Akina Ivy approaching the first turn checking Akina Ivy.  Another Rupee, Galloping Occy and Morbius collided on the first turn checking Galloping Occy and Morbius.  Another Rupee raced wide entering the back straight.  

Spolly's Beauty was slow to begin.

Dirty Boston and Knuckles collided soon after the start.  Cheeky Bumpa and Midnight Breeze collided on the first turn.  Midnight Breeze, Take A Daisy and Knuckles collided approaching the home turn.  Take A Daisy and Knuckles collided approaching the winning post.  

Missy Meghan was quick to begin.  Rock Me Lloyd was slow to begin.

Rock Me Lloyd and Akina Cosmo collided approaching the first turn.  Doused In Mud and Zambora Cash collided on the home turn.  Rock Me Lloyd and Akina Cosmo collided on the home turn.  Akina Cosmo and Pacific Coast collided in the home straight.

Tinker Bess was slow to begin.

Big Bubbles and Banjo Glitter collided soon after the start.  Pretty Lily and Aston Cabernet collided on the first turn checking Pretty Lily.  One More Light checked off Princess America approaching the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Princess America - the winner of the event.

In accordance with LR 22 Mr Jason Portelli was issued with a warning regarding his non-compliance with the GRV Dress Code.

Always There was quick to begin.

Akina Archer, Black Panda and Always There collided in the home straight checking Akina Archer.

Ridgeline and Disco Norm collided soon after the start checking Disco Norm.  Ridgeline and Disco Norm collided approaching the first turn checking Disco Norm.  Gin Lee's Girl faltered approaching the home turn and subsequentially tailed off.

Gin Lee's Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock injury.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Following this event Stewards inspected a section of the track, near the home turn and deemed it satisfactory for racing. 

Aston Fume - New decalred weight of 28.3 kgs, last raced at 27.2 kgs.

Akina Bear, Superior Jacob and Zambora Tara were slow to begin.

Aston Fume and Kanga Lights collided approaching the first turn.  Superior Jacob checked off Kanga Lights on the first turn.  Free Kick Hawks brushed the running rail on the first turn.  Superior Jacob checked off Italia Bella approaching the home turn.  Akina Bear and Italia Bella collided on the home turn.  Akina Bear and Kanga Lights collided entering the home straight checking Akina Bear.  Superior Jacob, Kanga Lights and Italia Bella collided approaching the winning post.  

Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) kennel attendant Miss E. Franklin did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event. 

Almapa Gallucci, Regal Duke and She Got Fire were slow to begin.

Almapa Gallucci contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Violets Are Red checked off Onya Jakit on the first turn causing Violets Are Red and New Fire Girl to collide; checking Violets Are Red, She Got Fire and New Fire Girl.  

Almapa Gallucci underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf muscle injury and bruising to the left thigh.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
