Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Argyle Bella and Dusty Victorem collided on the first turn. Mt. View Nancy contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Black Booker and Colourful Past collided approaching the second turn. Colourful Past, Cullquin Vincent and Big Leigh collided on the second turn. Colourful Past and Cullquin Vincent collided approaching the home turn. 

Mt. View Nancy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury and a right hindleg thigh muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Summer Siren galloped on the heels of Magic Trio approaching the first turn, severely checking Magic Trio.

Magic Trio underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg chest muscle injury and a left hindleg pencil/whip muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Respect was slow to begin. Mcivor Stretch, Piper's Unicorn and Aerolithology collided approaching the first turn. Bella Boom and Olin Bale collided on the first turn. Aston Respect, Piper's Unicorn and Aerolithology collided approaching the home turn checking Aston Respect and Aerolithology. Aston Respect and Aerolithology collided on the home turn.

Deering Danae and Tommy Cawbourne were slow to begin.

Little Fernado, Cracked Soda and Aston Sofia collided approaching the first turn checking Aston Sofia. Tommy Cawbourne, Little Fernando and Aston Sofia collided on the first turn. Spinner Hook clipped the heels of Tough Dude approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Little Fernando and Aston Sofia collided approaching the home turn. Deering Danae, Tough Dude and Spinner Hook collided on the home turn checking Tough Dude and Spinner Hook. Spinner Hook visable eased and collided with Tough Dude entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. 

Tough Dude underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg chest injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Spinner Hook underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr. Aaron Farley, the representative of Spinner Hook regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Spinner Hook was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Farley pleaded not guilty to the charge, Spinner Hook was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Blast Zone – New declared weight of 31.8kg, last raced at 29.9kg.

Jackie Jai and Super Destroyer collided approaching the first turn. Jackie Jai, Super Switch and Big Baccala collided on the first turn checking Super switch. Jackie Jai and Big Baccala collided approaching the home turn. Flying Jamaica and Ice Skates collided approaching the home turn checking Ice Skates. Jackie Jai and Ice Skates collided on the home turn, severely checking Ice Skates which fell as a result.

Ice Skates  underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left foreleg shoulder injury and a cervio-thoracic injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Goldana Bale with kennel representative name Ms T.Kennnedy-Harris and noted their comments.

Rock In Rio and Goldana Bale collided on the first turn. Lori Love and Don's Boy collided on the first turn. Oscar De Lonhro and Rock In Rio collided approaching the second turn checking Oscar De Lonhro. Poppo's Grining and Lori Love collided on the home turn. Oscar De Lonhro and Alita collided on the home turn checking Oscar De Lonhro. Oscar De Lonhro lost ground in the home straight.

Goldana Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Oscar De Lonhro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8. Oscar De Lonhro was found to have a cervico-thoracic injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Deadly Walk and Argyle Audrey collided on the first turn. Deadly Walk checked off Librarian approaching the home turn checking Deadly Walk. Argyle Audrey and Teaks Streak collided approaching the home turn.

Midnight Titan, Angie Ling, Ocean Star and Snap Decision collided on the first turn checking Ocean Star and Angie Ling. Angie Ling and Gardener's Boyo collided approaching the second turn. Midnight Titan, Pure Cool Titan and Quest Allen collided approaching the second turn. Snap Decision visable eased and turned its head approaching the home turn and collided with Sweet Harriet, severely checking both greyhounds. Gardeners Boyo and Quest Allen collided approaching the home turn. 

Snap Decision underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 9. Snap Decision was found to have a carpal sprain wrist injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke toMr. Trevor Whitford, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Snap Decision was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Whitford pleaded guilty to the charge, Snap Decision must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Giant Shadow was quick to begin. Brave Hearted went up with the lids and was slow to begin. Nicko Dancer and Blue Magic Opal collided several times approaching the first turn. Victory Chico, Nicko Dancer, Blue Magic Opal and Now And Then collided on the first turn checking Nicko Dancer. Late Night Kebab clipped the heels of Now And Then approaching the home turn.

Parrotfish Fozz and Hatters Lane collided soon after the start. Red Taltarni and Awesome Asset collided approaching the first turn. Red Taltarni, Decker, Awesome Asset and Erolo Bale collided on the first turn checking Awesome Asset and Decker.
