The start of this event was delayed by 3 minutes due to Sha Tin races running behind schedule.
Brave Hearted went up with the lids at box rise. Debut Knight, Jay Jay Kersey and Divine Dixie were quick to begin. Town Tamer checked off Divine Dixie approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Brindle Delight and Debut Knight collided approaching the first turn. Dundas Houdini and Swift Binga collided on the first turn. Dundas Houdini and Debut Knight collided entering the home straight. Town Tamer crossed to the rail approaching the winning post checking Dundas Houdini and Debut Knight.
Brave Hearted underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hamstrings injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
