Colden Dayto and Aqua Maisie collided on the first turn checking Colden Dayto, Trash and Rhonda Lily severely checking Act On Impulse. Arizona Gold and Colden Dayto collided approaching the second turn checking Colden Dayto. Colden Dayto brushed the running rail on the second turn. Trash checked off Pilbara on the third turn checking Rhonda Lily. Arizona Gold and Pilbara collided entering the home straight. Act On Impulse raced wide in the home straight. Trash lost ground over the concluding stages of the event.
Trash underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
