In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'. At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 27.2 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.3 degrees.

During kennelling Stewards conducted two carpark checks on all trainers’ vehicles engaged in today’s meeting. Stewards were satisfied that all transport had adhered to the GRV Hot Weather Policy and the GRV Transportation of Greyhounds Policy.

Diamond Lady was a late scratching at 7.38am by Order Of Stewards. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Hook Along Pippa – New declared weight of 25.3kgs, last raced at 26.4kgs.

Taya Bale was quick to begin.  Want It All was slow to begin.

Galway Lights, Hook Along Pippa, Taya Bale and La Quinta Rocks collided approaching the first turn checking Galway Lights, Hook Along Pippa and Taya Bale.  Galway Lights, Hook Along Pippa and Taya Bale collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Galway Lights galloped on Hook Along Pippa on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Taya Bale and Want It All collided approaching the home turn.  Next Up Nigel and Want It All raced wide in the home straight.

Madalia Brodie was slow to begin.

Max The Maniac and Take A Lily collided soon after the start checking Take A Lily.  Hint Of Magic, Wolfie's Swagger and All Class Fairy collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Wolfie's Swagger and All Class Fairy.  Madalia Brodie checked off All Class Fairy approaching the home turn.  Hint Of Magic and Crown Knox collided approaching the home turn.  Hint Of Magic and Wolfie's Swagger collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Crown Knox checked off Max The Maniac in the home straight.  Take A Lily raced wide in the home straight.

Miss Monster was quick to begin.  Aaron's Me Boy, My Era Rico and County Durham were slow to begin.  

Miss Monster and Big Coin Buddy collided approaching first turn.  Why Woodleigh, My Era Rico, Miss Monster and Big Coin Buddy collided on the first turn severely checking Miss Monster, Big Coin Buddy and checking Geena Bale.  Miss Monster checked off Aaron's Me Boy on the home turn.  County Durham and Big Coin Buddy collided several times entering the home straight and again in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Geena Bale checked off Big Coin Buddy in the home straight.

Double Bolt and Bomber's Queen was quick to begin.

Magpie Robbie, Teardrop and French Sugar collided soon after the start.  Play Win checked off Bomber's Queen approaching the first turn.  Hook Along Book crossed in on the first turn causing Play Win to gallop on Bomber's Queen checking both greyhounds, Magpie Robbie and Bomber's Queen to collide as a result.  Double Bolt, Hook Along Book and French Sugar collided on the first turn.  Double Bolt and Hook Along Book collided several times on the first turn checking French Sugar, Jackson County, severely checking Double Bolt and Hook Along Book.  Double Bolt veered out and marred Hook Along Book on the home turn causing both greyhounds to race wide and lose ground.  Double Bolt visibly eased and collided several times with Hook Along Book in the home straight severely checking Hook Along Book.  

Double Bolt underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Mr T. Whitford, the trainer of Double Bolt regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Double Bolt was charged with marring. Mr Whitford pleaded guilty to the charge, Double Bolt is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hook Along Book underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Aron Allen and Fun Time Mikado collided on the first turn checking Aron Allen.  Roger That checked off Muza's Angel approaching the home turn.  Fun Time Mikado raced wide in the home straight

Muza's Belle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left chest injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Parumba Taylah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right tarsal sprain.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Wyoming Express, Tinker Bess, Shaggy Rose and Architecture collided approaching the first turn severely checking Architecture which stumbled and lost ground checking Tinker Bess and Shaggy Rose.  Tinker Bess and Shaggy Rose collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  

Architecture underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind hamstring injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Parabellum was quick to begin.  Shanlyn Spot was slow to begin.

Ultimate Mac crossed in soon after the start checking Ultimate Mac, Hayley's Hero, Black Mintie, Shanlyn Spot and Saipan Bale.  Hayley's Hero checked off Ultimate Mac soon after the start checking Black Mintie and Shanlyn Spot.  Shanlyn Spot, Saipan Bale and Black Mintie collided approaching the first turn checking Shanlyn Spot, Black Mintie and Hayley's Hero.  Shanlyn Spot and Hayley's Hero collided on the first turn checking Hayley's Spot and severely checking Shanlyn Spot.  Shanlyn Spot raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  Ultimate Mac eased approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr F. Andrighetto, the trainer of Ultimate Mac regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Ultimate Mac was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Andrighetto pleaded not guilty to the charge, Ultimate Mac was found guilty and suspended for 3 months at all tracksand must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Love To Deed and Brooke's Wings were slow to begin.

Black Catani and Ebony Lakes collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Love To Deed checked off Brooke's Wings on the first turn.  Salut Bianca and Brooke's Wings collided on the first turn.  Black Catani and Ebony Lakes collided approaching the home turn checking Black Catani.  Love To Deed checked off Ebony Lakes approaching the home turn.  Salut Bianca and Brooke's Wings collided approaching the home turn.

Gypsy Kiowa and Bluwy were quick to begin.  Khandela was slow to begin.

Mega Mckayla – Late scratching at 11.09am when trainer, Mr Williams Dawes reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Tarquin Bob was slow to begin.

Mini Fernando and Menzies Avenue collided on the first turn checking Mini Fernando.  Mini Fernando checked off Zipping Lucky on the home turn.  Zipping Lucky raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.
