Our Centurion –New declared weight of 37.9kg, last raced at 36.8kg - pre-race sample also taken.
Brooke's Wings, Our Centurion and Jumping Breen were slow to begin. Catch Me Spolly was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Brooke's Wings and Our Centurion collided soon after the start. Fidelia checked off Hurricane Red on the first turn causing Jumping Breen to clip the heels of Fidelia, checking Fidelia, Jumping Breen and severely checking Catch Me Spolly; causing all three greyhounds to race wide. Our Centurion checked off Levi's Me Boy approaching the home turn.
Jumping Breen underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Fidelia underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Tom Currie, the trainer of Fidelia and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.
