Steward's Report
Blazin' Stripes was quick to begin.
Another Vader was slow to begin.
Chasing Beers and Savannah Icon collided soon after the start causing Savannah Icon to tail off. China Catch 'Em checked off Blazin' Stripes on the first turn. Crystal Bling and Another Vader collided on the first turn. Crystal Bling and China Catch 'Em collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight.
Savannah Icon underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Chasing Beers, winner of the event.
At the completion of this event, the Stewards relaxed the Heat Affected policy due to the outside temperature dropping to 26 degrees.
