Hillbilly Storm and Follow The Que collided soon after the start. Not Arandt and Victory Chico collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Not Arandt and Victory Chico collided on the first turn checking Victory Chico. Hillbilly Storm and Panel One collided on the first turn severely checking Follow The Que and Hillbilly Storm causing Hillbilly Storm to fall.
Hillbilly Storm underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have bruising to the right shoulder and a spike wound to the right hock. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Not Arandt underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
