Steward's Report
Husky Freckle and Furnace Bale were slow to begin. David's Way, Berringa Blue and Maddox Bale collided soon after the start checking Berringa Blue. Rocky Infrared, Berringa Blue and Furnace Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Berringa Blue and Rocky Infrared. David's Way and Maddox Bale collided on the first turn and approaching the home turn. Maddox Bale and David's Way collided entering the home straight. Berringa Blue and Rocky Infrared collided in the home straight.
Maddox Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound and a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Mangion, the trainer of Maddox Bale and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.
