Steward's Report
Murrabit Benny checked off Hanga soon after the start. All Bling checked off Adriel soon after the start. Midnight Muscat and Ferno The Nando collided at the 250m mark. Midnight Muscat, Adriel and Ferno The Nando collided approaching the 200m mark checking Midnight Muscat and Adriel. All Blind and Hanga collided at the 150m mark checking Hanga and Ferno The Nando. Hanga visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Hanga underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Ms P. Triaca, the trainer of Hanga regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Hanga was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms Triaca pleaded guilty to the charge, Hanga is suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
