Steward's Report
Spicy Cupcake was very slow to begin (4L) and was uncompetitive throughout the event. Mepunga Holly, Andover and Clean Slate collided soon after the start. Mohinga Chase and Mepunga Holly collided approaching the first turn checking Mepunga Holly. Mohinga Chase, Measuring and Andover collided approaching the first turn. Andover and Zipping Reuben collided on the first turn. Measured and Clean Slate collided on the home turn checking Clean Slate. Mepunga Holly marred Measured in the home straight. Measured visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Spicy Cupcake underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abdominal muscle injury and a right hip injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Mepunga Holly underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 7 stand down period days was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Lyons, the trainer of Mepunga Holly regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Mepunga Holly was charged with marring. Mr. Lyons pleaded guilty to the charge, Mepunga Holly is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Measured was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Edwards pleaded guilty to the charge, Measured is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
