Trinity Blue was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Awesome Asset, Legend Rose, Go The Doves and Hook Along Mint collided soon after the start, checking Legend Rose. Legend Rose checked off Awesome Asset at the 250m mark. Maddox Bale, Awesome Asset and Legend Rose collided at the 50m mark.
Trinity Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the left fore leg next to the wrist. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Gary Edwards, the trainer of Trinity Blue and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 250m mark.
