Romeo Lad was very slow to begin (3L). Flamingo Myrtle and Milly Van Allan collided soon after the start checking Milly Van Allan. Barellen Knight and Flamingo Myrtle collided soon after the start checking Milly Van Allan. Barellen Knight and Don't Tell Ange collided approaching the first turn. Awesome Asset clipped the heels of Barellen Knight on the first turn checking Awesome Asset. Romeo Lad and Dont Tell Ange collided on the first turn. Milly Van Allan and Dont Tell Ange collided on the home turn. Awesome Asset, Milly Van Allan and Dont Tell Ange collided entering the home straight. Awesome Asset and Hey There Patty collided several times in the home straight and approaching the winning post.
Flamingo Myrtle underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right stopper. A 5 say stand down period was imposed.
