Steward's Report

Ali Tonic, Blue Cigar and Magpie Robbie were slow to begin.

Red Potion crossed to rail soon after the start checking Maybe Hostile and Coyote Ugly; Red Potion faltered and tailed off as a result. Maybe Hostile raced wide soon after the start chceking Maybe Hostile and Janray Rastus. Janray Rastus and Magpie Robbie collided twice at the 250m mark. Janray Rastus galloped on the heels of Magpie Robbie at the 100m mark.

Red Potion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left triangle muscle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Ali Tonic - the winner of the event.
