Steward's Report
Fabelite was quick to begin. Crackerjack Tys and Inter Helen collided approaching the home turn. Madame Duggie and Zero To Hero collided approaching the home turn. Little Red Hot, Quando Quando and Zero To Hero collided on the home turn checking Quando Quando. Fabelite and Madame Duggie raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Inter Helen turned its head outwards in the home straight colliding with and checking Crackerjack Tys.
Inter Helen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jordan Formosa, the trainer of Inter Helen regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Inter Helen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Formosa declined to have the greyhound re-vetted and pleaded guilty to the charge, Inter Helen is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Stewards spoke to M. B. Merton, the trainer of Madame Duggie and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.
A post-race sample was taken from Inter Helen, winner of the event.
