Don't Tell Ange underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left chest muscle, right quadraceps, right sesamoid and found to have heat stress. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Inter Helen turned its head outwards in the home straight colliding with and checking Crackerjack Tys.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Jordan Formosa, the trainer of Inter Helen regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Inter Helen was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Formosa declined to have the greyhound re-vetted and pleaded guilty to the charge, Inter Helen is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to M. B. Merton, the trainer of Madame Duggie and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.
