Librarian and Spot On Dot collded soon after the start. Awesome Asset galloped on the heels of Don't Tell Ange on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Romeo Lad and Magical Ruby collided in the home straight. Don't Tell Ange and Awesome Asset collided in the home straight checking both greyhounds.
Don't Tell Ange underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left chest muscle, right quadraceps, right sesamoid and found to have heat stress. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
