Just Harry and Wayne's Way collided on the home turn. Wayne's Way galloped on the heels of Just Harry in the home straight checking Wayne's Way. Awesome Asset tired over the concluding stages of the event.
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Boquet, the trainer of My Names Daryl regarding its improved performance and wagering support in this event. Mr. Boquet advised that My Names Daryl had been in his care for only 9 days, had trialled well publicly at Shepparton when arriving and connections were confident in a forward showing today and backed the greyhound as a result. Stewards ordered that a sample be taken from the greyhound.
