George Knockin' lost its muzzle at the 250m mark.
Bela Natali checked off No Sugar at the 250m mark. Black In Town faltered and lost ground at the 150m mark. George Knockin' baulked approaching the winning post.
Black In Town underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards noted that a duck, which was situated on the running rail approaching the winning post, took flight as the lure approached causing George Knockin’ to baulk. No action was taken.
