Steward's Report
Mr D Basile was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Rapana pursuant to GAR 33.
A pre-race sample was taken from Our China Plate.
Our China Plate was slow to begin. Harry's Entity, Proven Strudel and Cozi Fitz collided approaching the first turn. Rapana lost ground approaching the first turn. Proven Strudel and Cozi Fitz collided approaching the home turn.
Rapana underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined 20 minutes after the event. Rapana was found to have a left and right sprained hock and a left hip injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Raven Paws - the winner of the event.
